Dominic Peña

Dominic is a trial lawyer who primarily practices in the area of employment law and has assisted in various matters related to corporate and commercial litigation, construction litigation, estate litigation, contractual disputes, municipal matters, including bylaw prosecution, and family law matters, among others. Dominic is always happy to assist new clients, whether they require assistance with litigation, the drafting of a will, or real estate transactions.

Dominic joined the Firm in the summer of 2021 as an articling student and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022. He has gained exposure to various areas of litigation and experience with a variety of legal matters and issues.

Dominic received his JD from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Robson Hall, after studying philosophy and political studies during his undergrad.

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean, Dominic has lived throughout Canada including Ontario and Manitoba, his love of the mountains has drawn him to settle in Red Deer, Alberta. Prior to and during his post-secondary education, Dominic worked in a variety of jobs including in the agricultural sector as a grain elevator operator, and as a residential and commercial painter.
