After working as a summer student and articling with Chapman Riebeek, Miete was called to the bar in July 2025.  She has spent the past two years supporting the lawyers in the firm in various matters relating to corporate, commercial and employment litigation, contractual disputes, municipal matters as well as family matters.

Miete received her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction at the University of Alberta, she then went on to receive her JD from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law.

Miete was born in Angola and moved to Canada at a young age, her family settled in Toronto for 6 years before moving to Edmonton.  After completing a module course in law during high school, she quickly decided law was her passion and is excited that she has now realized that dream.

She is looking forward to expanding her general practice with a focus on civil and employment litigation and is eager to serve the Central Alberta Community.
