Tyler Nightingale

Tyler practises in a broad range of litigation matters. He has a busy practice in employment law disputes, and has developed a proprietary database to assist dismissed employees assess the severance pay they are owed. He is a skilled negotiator who understands the benefit to employers and employees of resolving matters as amicably and effectively as possible. When this is not possible, Tyler’s litigation experience is a significant asset to his clients in coming to a fair resolution of workplace disputes through the courts.

Another focus of Tyler’s litigation practice is commercial litigation, both between corporations and inside them when shareholder disputes arise. Tyler is well-versed in commercial law, his business acumen and knowledge of the industries within which his clients operate, make Tyler the litigator of choice for many Central Albertans.

Tyler is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge where he majored in Economics. His work experience prior to law included four years conducting business development with a mid-sized Calgary engineering firm in the oil and gas industry, and he worked within the service rig industry during his university summers.
